They are a simple attachment that turns a skid steer into a forklift. They consist of two long, strong metal blades (the forks) mounted on a frame.

How Do They Attach to the ASV RT40 Posi Track?

  1.  ASV RC40 Positrack Mount: The back of the pallet fork frame has a special ASV RT30 Positrack mounting plate. This is not a standard mounting plate

  2. Connecting to the Skid Steer: The operator drives the RC30 up to the pallet forks and uses the machine's loader arms to connect to the mounting plate. There are levers inside the skid steer that lock the forks securely onto the machine. It's a quick and easy process.

What Do They Do?

Once attached, the pallet forks can be used to lift and move heavy items that are stored on pallets.

  • Lifting: The operator can tilt the forks and drive them into the openings of a pallet.

  • Transporting: The operator then lifts the pallet off the ground and can drive the skid steer to a new location.

  • Placing: The pallet can then be gently lowered to the ground or onto a truck or shelf.

Essentially, they provide a safe and efficient way to handle palletized goods, saving time and manual labor. They are a must-have for anyone who regularly needs to move heavy items.
